RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are not satisfied with your purchase of SimplyHome by CMI, please call 1-828-684-8441 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within fourteen (14) calendar days of the receipt of the product. Configure-to-order, personalized or other customized product may not be returned for refund or exchange under any circumstances unless DEFECTIVE. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to the CMI warehouse within fourteen (14) calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee will be assessed on any opened hardware or accessory.

• NOTE: CMI recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to CMI or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.

• DEFECTIVE Product: System Failure Out of the Box SimplyHome by CMI is considered DEFECTIVE if it shows symptoms of a hardware failure, preventing basic operability, upon its first use out of the box. If you believe that your product is DEFECTIVE, please call CMI Technical Support at 1-828-684-8441 within fifteen (15) calendar days of the invoice date. CMI Technical Support will determine whether the product is DEFECTIVE and offer you a Replacement option; that is, the same product that you ordered will be shipped to you at CMI's expense. CMI Technical Support will put you in touch with a CMI Sales Support Representative to set up a replacement order and provide the procedure for returning the DEFECTIVE product. Product must be deemed DEFECTIVE by CMI Technical Support within fifteen (15) calendar days of the invoice date in order to receive a replacement unit.

DEFECTIVE Terms and Conditions :

o This DEFECTIVE policy applies only to CMI-branded hardware products currently offered at the CMI eStore. As new products are offered, CMI reserves the right to determine whether or not this policy applies.

o This DEFECTIVE policy does not apply to third-party products that do not bear the CMI brand name.

o If the product is deemed DEFECTIVE by CMI Technical Support more than fifteen (15) calendar days after the invoice date, CMI's standard product warranty will apply.

o If the product is deemed by CMI Technical Support NOT to be DEFECTIVE, CMI's standard product warranty will apply.

o Shipping will be arranged at CMI's expense for all products determined by CMI Technical Support to be DEFECTIVE.

o CMI reserves the right to test returned DEFECTIVE product.

o If the condition of the product is misrepresented by the customer, CMI may impose a $100 handling fee.

PRODUCT WARRANTY

All CMI hardware products carry a ninety (90) day Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Non-CMI-branded/Third-party products are sold "AS IS" by the CMI eStore, but may be accompanied by their manufacturers' standard warranties. "AS IS" products are sold by CMI as is, where is, and with all faults, and without express or implied warranties from CMI. If you have questions about any manufacturers' warranties that accompany such products, please contact the manufacturer directly.

Note: Products sold through this Web site which do not bear the SimplyHome by CMI brand name are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with any terms and conditions packaged with the products. CMI's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not CMI-branded, even if packaged or sold with CMI products. Please contact the manufacturer directly for technical support and customer service.
